About

Adrian Megahey was born in Northern Ireland in the early 60s.

He has been taking photographs for 25 years both personally and professionally. He spent 12 years as technical director with Changeinspeak theatre company, in London, producing photo montages and slideshows as an integral part of many productions.

He moved back to Galway in the west of Ireland, where he now lives with his wife and two children.
Inspired by the beautiful western Irish light (and rain) he has been developing a portfolio of new digital work as well as revisiting his large film archive.

The images are digitally processed, some more so than others, but all of them attempt to capture the essence of the image when the shutter was pressed.
